HISTORY

The Office for Institutional Advancement (OIA) was established in May 2008 through the efforts of then-University President Fr. Gregorio Banaga, Jr., CM. He focused on forging partnerships within the Adamsonian Community and seeking sponsorships for the University’s academic, athletic and social endeavors.
The Office for Institutional Advancement was first led by Dr. Liezel Villanueva as Director. She initiated numerous University-based events such as the Send-off and Welcome Party for graduating students, Falcon Run and the annual President’s Cup Golf Tournament.
The office led Adamson’s drive for alumni relations bannered by the biennial Global Alumni Reunion inaugurated at Anaheim, California in 2012. It also established the President’s Club, now known as President’s Circle, in 2012, to open the University’s doors to benefactors’ support in its programs.
In 2016, the Office for Institutional Advancement was awarded second place in the Organizational Excellence of 5s Compliance, Office Category, and was highly commended during the audit done by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) last 2018.
Dr. Eva Dulay, former president of the Adamson University Alumni Association Inc. (AUAAI), is the Director of the office since 2010.
